Choose the right replay point

ChoiceResult
Later chapterLoads the snapshot created when that chapter was first reached. Later local inventory and progress are not automatically pulled backward.
Chapter oneImports explored map, completed subquests and global progress such as supports, Blessings and Notable Deeds.
Part I chapter 12Finishing it again can update the state passed into that hero’s Part II.

What resets?

Do not treat Replay as an all-items carryover. A chapter snapshot reflects the party, equipment and local state from that point, apart from global systems. Replaying into the following chapter writes a new snapshot there; untouched later bookmarks remain available.

A sensible sequence

Finish your first Part I path, then begin another hero at chapter one if you want its story with imported exploration and side-quest progress. Compare the four paths and chapter structure before deciding how much to replay.
