Where gifts come from
Pickups and city activities can provide gifts, the Lowcity Tavern merchant sells a selection, and merchants across the world map carry more distinctive items. A preferred category produces a stronger reaction and more support than a poor match.
A useful gifting sequence
- Choose an ally and check their current support level.
- Read the item description and match categories such as books, sweets, riding supplies or training gear to that character’s stated interests.
- After the first gift opens meals, use the inn for repeat support growth; a character can join up to three meals per week.
- For recruitment, check route, Renown and quest requirements separately; support alone may not be enough.
